Thin Wall Bearings

Thin Wall bearings, also known as “Plain Bearings” or “Sleeve Bearings”, are designed for use in numerous applications and offer features and benefits unavailable with many rolling-element bearings. Thin Wall bearings are distinguished from rolling-element bearings primarily by the fact that they consist of only one part. However, that singular part may be built from different materials, and layered and combined into a load carrying system.

Main Bearing

The main bearings from Quad Industries are those in which the crankshaft rotates. This bearing holds the crankshaft in place while preventing forces created by the piston from dislodging the crankshaft.

S.A.E. 12, S.A.E. 15, and S.A.E. 783
